Our Story

In 1995 husband and wife team Anthony and Lise Loder started the company as PhonesUSA, primarily focusing on the telecom industry, installing business phone systems and phone and data cabling. They sold everything in their shop on Sawtelle Blvd in West Los Angeles, from high powered office phone systems, to answering machines and headsets. They even had walk-in clientele that would browse the small aisles for telecom products. As the industry changed, and big box stores (Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot..) took the walk-in clients away, PhonesUSA kept evolving, eventually moving to their current location on Venice Blvd in 2003. No longer operating a store, they focused on skilled-based installations and technologies.

The telecom industry opened up opportunities to learn other trades that customers requested. In the early 2000’s, PhonesUSA expanded into CCTV camera systems and access control systems. Already familiar with low voltage cabling infrastructure, these two new technologies were a perfect fit. In the 2010’s, a large chunk of the small to medium sized telecom users went to the “cloud”, and PhonesUSA changed their name to Avante Technologies, reflecting their goal to be on the forefront of reliable, proven new technologies ready for use in the business sector.

After over 25 years in the industry, Avante Technologies takes pride in their work, installing business technologies, primarily camera systems, access control systems, phone systems and voice/data/fiber-optic structured cabling.
